برعاية معهد جوته الالمانى بمصر أُطلق مشروع Arabshorts.net و هو مشروع  على شبكة الإنترنت يقوم بعرض تسعة برامج لأفلام قام بإختيارها تسعة منسقين من منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا. جمع المشروع ما يزيد عن ستين فيلم روائي قصير، وأفلام وثائقية وأفلام صور متحركة ، فضلاً عن فنون الفيديو ، وأفلام تجريبية ، وكل ما يتعلق بهم. ملحوظة هامة رغم ان الموقع يحتوى على مجموعة جيدة جداً من الافلام إلا انه يجب على المعلمين مشاهدة الافلام قبل عرضها للتأكد من صلاحية عرضها ضمن الاطار الصفى و ذلك لأن بعض الافلام يحتوى على الفاظ غير ملائمة.

Umm AL- Qura University in Mecca , Institute of Arabic for Non Native Speakers  offer free tution two years scholarship to study Arabic.
