موقع ادب فرصة رائعة للمعلم لاختيار مادة شعرية منوعة لطلابة من حيث الحقبة التاريخية او المدرسة الادبية. يقدم الموقع قصائد صوتية و قصائد عامية و فصحى من كل ربوع الوطن العربي كما يقدم بعض القصائد العالمية المترجمة إلى العربية. يعد الموقع موسوعة بحق فعلى سبيل المثال في ديوان الشعر الفصيح حتى الآن : 1269771 بيتاً في 57433 قصيدة لـ 618 شاعراً وشاعرة.
